But on a lighter note...

How I wish I could be in London right now. "The Massacre of the Innocents" is now on public display at London's National Gallery! This exquisite piece was crafted by Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens in 1610. Rubens is one of my absolute favorite Baroque painters, only second to Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.

I should create a "WHAT BAROQUE PAINTING ARE YOU" quiz, eh? I LOVE the idea! Stay tuned for that, indeed.
